Summary
This website is informational. Without your consent we use no cookies and no analytics tools, and load no third-party content. Only if you agree in the consent banner do we use Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager. Otherwise we only process personal data where this is technically necessary to deliver the website, or when you contact us.
Hosting and server logs
This website is served via Firebase Hosting, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). When you visit the website, Google processes the technically necessary connection data as our processor: IP address, date and time of the request, page requested, amount of data transferred, referrer URL, and browser and operating system.
This processing serves to deliver the website and to keep it secure and stable, in particular to detect abuse. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable provision of the website.
We have a data processing agreement with Google under Art. 28 GDPR. According to Google, IP addresses are retained for a few months. Processing by Google LLC in the USA cannot be ruled out. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which is covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission (Art. 45 GDPR).
Web analytics with Google Analytics (only with consent)
If you choose "Accept" in the consent banner, we load Google Tag Manager and, through it, Google Analytics 4, services of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. No connection to these services is made before that.
Google Analytics sets cookies (e.g. "_ga" and "_ga_<ID>", stored for up to 2 years) and collects pseudonymous usage data: pages viewed, time spent and interactions, referring website, device, browser, screen resolution, language and approximate location (country, region). According to Google, Google Analytics does not store IP addresses. Advertising features and Google Signals are disabled.
The purpose is to analyse how our website is used in order to improve its content and presentation. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG (German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act). Analytics data is deleted automatically after 14 months.
Google processes the data as our processor (Art. 28 GDPR). Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA; Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which is covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission (Art. 45 GDPR).
You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future: open "Cookie settings" in the footer and choose "Decline". We store your choice in your browser’s local storage; this is necessary to respect your decision (Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG).
Contact by email or phone
If you contact us by email or phone, we process the information you provide (e.g. name, email address, phone number and the content of your request) to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your request relates to a contract or steps prior to entering into one, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is responding to your request.
For email we use Google Workspace from Google Ireland Limited as our processor. We delete your request once it has been fully handled, unless statutory retention obligations (e.g. under commercial or tax law) apply.
Links to other websites
Our pages contain links to external services such as Schilder.kaufen, the Apple App Store, Trustpilot, REVIEWS.io and Certipedia (TÜV Rheinland). Data is only transmitted to the respective provider when you click a link. The provider is responsible for any processing on its website.
Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR), and the right to withdraw any consent at any time (Art. 7(3) GDPR). Please use the contact details above.
Right to object: where we process data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).
Right to lodge a complaint
You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen, Kavalleriestraße 2-4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany.
Provision of data and automated decisions
You are not obliged to provide personal data. Without the technically necessary connection data, however, the website cannot be delivered. We do not use automated decision-making, including profiling.
